Carlos Sanchez Ortiz
Professor, UBACS
Carlos studied Marine Biology at UABCS, a Master’s in marine sciences from CICIMAR and a Ph.D. in molecular evolution. As Director of the Proyecto Fauna Arrecifal at UABCS, he has been developing research on molecular systematics of marine cnidarians and participates in the Gulf of California Marine Program’s rocky-reef monitoring program. Currently, he teaches Invertebrates Biology, Benthic Ecology, Systematic and Genetics at UABCS.
